WHAT: The birds do it, the bees do it, find out how the animals at the zoo do it * during the third annual Jungle Love Tour hosted by Woodland Park Zoos WildKeepers Club. Media are invited to tag along on this extraordinary tour. Learn about the zoos efforts to breed its elephants both naturally and artificially. Find out about the amazing rescue of the zoos bouncing baby tree kangaroo. Discover the zoos twin golden lion tamarins, the first known pair to be born in a zoo. WHEN: Saturday, February 6
1st group: presentation, brunch, Discovery
Cart and bugs: 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
2nd group: presentation, brunch, Discovery
Cart and bugs: 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. WHERE: Meet at Woodland Park Zoos Education Center near the South Gate at N. 50th St. and Fremont Ave. N. 1st tour: 11:05 a.m. to noon * Led by docents, three groups will rotate between the Elephant Forest, Day Exhibit, and tree kangaroos in the Australasia exhibit.
