WOODLAND PARK ZOO’S
THIRD ANNUAL JUNGLE LOVE TOUR

WHAT: The birds do it, the bees do it, find out how the animals at the zoo do it * during the third annual Jungle Love Tour hosted by Woodland Park Zoo’s WildKeepers Club. Media are invited to tag along on this extraordinary tour.

Learn about the zoo’s efforts to breed its elephants both naturally and artificially. Find out about the amazing rescue of the zoo’s bouncing baby tree kangaroo. Discover the zoo’s twin golden lion tamarins, the first known pair to be born in a zoo.

WHEN: Saturday, February 6

    1st group: presentation, brunch, Discovery Cart and bugs: 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
            Tour: 11:05 a.m. to noon

    2nd group: presentation, brunch, Discovery Cart and bugs: 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
            Tour: 1:35 to 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at Woodland Park Zoo’s Education Center near the South Gate at N. 50th St. and Fremont Ave. N.

1st tour: 11:05 a.m. to noon * Led by docents, three groups will rotate between the Elephant Forest, Day Exhibit, and tree kangaroos in the Australasia exhibit. Each tour stop is approximately 15 minutes.

2nd tour: 1:35 to 2:30 p.m. * Led by docents, three groups will rotate between the Elephant Forest, Day Exhibit, and tree kangaroos in the Australasia exhibit. Each tour stop is approximately 15 minutes.
