WHAT: Woodland Park Zoo is recruiting enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated individuals interested in becoming docents. In a new training program, you'll begin your service as public education volunteers who greet zoo visitors, give directions and assist with special events. Upon further training you'll have the opportunity to graduate to a docent and present programs to school groups and zoo visitors, lead tours, and staff Discovery Carts and the Discovery Barn. Docents must be at least 18.

WHEN: Applications are now being accepted for the next training course, which begins March 13. The course is held on six Saturdays in the spring.
