Purchasing Tickets
Tickets for BECU ZooTunes presented by Carter Subaru can be purchased online starting April 26. A limited amount of tickets are also available at Woodland Park Zoo ticketing gates during operating hours. Credit cards are accepted for online ticket purchases (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover). Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted at zoo gates. If you are presenting a check, ID will be required. No phone ticket sales are available.
Ticket Refunds
We do not offer returns or exchanges on any ticket purchase. Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a cancellation, and then tickets are refundable at the original point of purchase only.
Lost Tickets
If you purchased your tickets online through Woodland Park Zoo’s online ticketing system, you can reprint your own lost tickets in advance of the show (link will be available April 26) and clicking on ‘I need to print my ticket.’ If you arrive at zoo gates on the day of your concert without your electronic ticket in hand please proceed to the “Online Ticket Help Desk” with a valid ID and we will be able to confirm your purchase. Woodland Park Zoo does not sell any tickets to third party ticket distributors and can only verify tickets that were purchased through our system. Therefore, it is suggested that you purchase all your ZooTunes tickets through Woodland Park Zoo’s system.
Unfortunately, if you purchased hard copy tickets at zoo gates, we do not have a way to confirm your purchase, so please make sure to keep your tickets somewhere safe!
Day of Show Tickets
If a concert is not sold out, you may purchase tickets online or at the zoo’s West Entrance until 8:00 p.m. Please keep in mind that most concerts end at approximately 8:30 p.m., so please check in advance to make sure there are still tickets available and get there early so you can enjoy the majority of the show.
Reserved Seating
A limited number of Reserved seating tickets are available for each concert. Reserved tickets include reserved parking and seats (chairs provided) in a prime viewing and listening location. Reserved section tickets are available online only while supplies last, and are not sold at the concert entrance or at zoo gates
Due to limited seating and reserved ticket location you'll need to purchase a reserved ticket for each member in your group, regardless of age. Reserved tickets are the exception to our one child per paid adult allowance.
General Admission Seating
General admission seating is festival-style on the North meadow lawn. GA ticket holders are seated on a first-come-first-served basis. Low-backed chairs are allowed, as are blankets, but high-backed chairs over 24” block views and ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not take up more space than you need for your party, as the meadow can get crowded during sold out shows, and we want everyone to be able to find a seat.
Disabled Seating
Please visit our Access for Persons with Disabilities page for more information.
Does my concert ticket provide me with admission or a discount to the zoo?
The concert ticket only allows admission to the performance. If you would like to visit the zoo before the concert, you will need to purchase a separate admission ticket at zoo gates. However, your concert ticket does allow you to come back to the zoo after your concert date through September 30 for $5.00 off one regular zoo admission per ticket.
Do you offer special discounted ticket packages, even for zoo members?
No, we do not offer any discounts on concert tickets, but members do have the benefit of buying their ZooTunes tickets first through our member pre-sale. Click here to become a member by April 15 in order to qualify for the presale.

Ticket Fees
BECU ZooTunes presented by Carter Subaru is a major fundraiser for the zoo to support animal care, zoo maintenance and upkeep, education programs for children and adults, and conservation programs that are helping to preserve endangered species in our state and all over the world. Tickets to ZooTunes remain the best concert bargain in the Northwest, and we have worked very hard in an increasingly competitive market to keep ticket prices as low as possible.
A $1.00 facility fee is included in the ticket price at all ticket outlets to help fund the maintenance of the zoo's concert facilities, and a $2.00 service fee is included in tickets purchased online.
Children 12 and Under Free Policy
Please note that only one (1) child 12 years of age and younger is free with each paid ticket. So, if you have paid for two tickets, you can bring two children (12 and under) to the concert for free. If you have paid for two tickets, but have three children, you will need to purchase an additional ticket, as only two of the children will be allowed in free (“one per paid ticket.”)
Reserved tickets are the exception to our one child per paid ticket allowance. Every member of your party will need to purchase a ticket for the reserved section.
To help ensure respectful concert etiquette and for the safety of your children, please ensure that you and your children are respectful of the concert-goers around you. Children must be supervised at all times.
Will Call
There is a Will Call booth conveniently located at the West Entrance in the Membership office. Will Call opens at 4:30 p.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m. on the night of a concert. Feel free to use this service and drop off tickets for guests arriving late. The zoo‘s West Entrance is located on Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th St. and N. 56th Streets. Tickets purchased online will not automatically be held at Will Call and you must print out a copy of your ticket or bring it with you on your mobile device.
Weather
The concerts at Woodland Park Zoo take place in an outdoor venue. You should be prepared for inclement weather. Performances take place rain or shine.
Artist and Venue Merchandise
It is up to each of the artists to provide their merchandise to be sold. Most, but not all, artists travel with merchandise.
Camera Policy
Most artists' contracts either prohibit cameras all together or prohibit the use of flash photography and professional type cameras (removable lenses). The MAJORITY OF CONTRACTS do not allow any type of recording devices, audio or video.
Where do concert lines form?
There are two lines which form inside the zoo for our members and those who have paid for zoo admission for the day. They are located by the penguin exhibit and behind the carousel. These two lines are let into the meadow at approximately 5:00 p.m. Outside lines begin in the West commons and the South gate and are let in once the inner lines have entered.
What time do doors open?
The doors open at 5:00 p.m. or once the artist has completed sound check. We must wait till sound check ends prior to guests being allowed to enter the venue. We do not allow pre-placing of blankets or chairs.
How do I get an answer to a specific question?
If you have any questions that are not answered here, email concerts@zoo.org or post your question on the “Woodland Park Zoo – ZooTunes and Event” page. Please keep in mind that on the day of a concert, staff is setting up for the show and may be unavailable via email.
