A grizzly bear at Woodland Park Zoo shakes off the snow on Wed., Jan. 18. In addition to grizzlies, the award-winning Northern Trail exhibit is home to a pack of wolves, elk, mountain goats, snowy owls, Steller's sea eagles, river otters and other animals that are adaptable to the cold of the rugged far north.


After two days of closure, Woodland Park Zoo will reopen today during regular winter hours: 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.zoo.org
