Payments and Refunds

The following information applies to all classes, camps and individual and small group Zoo Adventure programs.  For Organized Group Zoo Adventures, please refer to the following page: Zoo Adventures for Organized Groups.

Payment

Payments for all classes, camps, and individual and small group Zoo Adventure programs must be made in full at the time of registration.  If full payment poses a hardship for you, please e-mail the Individual Registrar or call 206-548-2424. 

Refunds\Cancellation Policy

A full refund is given to participants cancelling their registration or moving to another event a minimum of two weeks in advance of the start date\time of the program.  There is no refund for a cancellation or move made less than 2 weeks prior to the start date\time of the program.

If the zoo cancels a program at any time all registrants will receive a full refund.

Scholarships

A scholarship fund has been established to provide financial aid for qualified children\families.  If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund you can do so by e-mailing the Individual Registrar, calling 206-548-2424 or by filling out a registration form.

To apply for a scholarship please complete the Scholarship Application form and a registration form for the program you wish to attend. Unfortunately we are not able to provide scholarships for all programs.  At this time we are not able to offer scholarships for Zoo Adventures (overnights). 

*Please Note:  The deadline to apply for a Summer Scholarship is April 1st each year.  We will contact all applicants with a decision by mid-April.  If money is still available after the mid-April awards, we will offer additional scholarships via rolling admission on a case by case basis.

Registration

To access online registration, find the program you are interested in and click on the associated online registration link. To register by mail, fax or in person, please click here to download the summer camps registration form.  Please note, we do not accept registrations via the phone.

REGISTRATION CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Need to make changes to or cancel an existing registration?  Call 206.548.2424 or email the Registrar.  Changes and cancellations can not be done through our online registration process.  

Changes and cancellations are allowed up to two weeks in advance of the program start date.
