Internationally collected artist, Robert Blehert, painted this extraordinary 30” x 40” oil painting featuring penguins with a baby penguin at the forefront. Robert Blehert has been painting portraits of animals and people for over 30 years, with an ever-growing list of clients, including movie director Paul Verhoeven, former president of the Federal Reserve Bank, William J. McDonough, owner of the L.A. Lakers, Dr. Jerry Buss, and many more! Recently Robert was commissioned to paint Pope John Paul II by Archbishop Brunette, of the Seattle Archdiocese. The artist keeps a studio in Seattle on Lake Union, and has developed a special relationship with the zoo over the last five years.
