Fund-Our-Future, we have created an unforgettable evening. You
will have an opportunity to throw a party for nine of your friends
along Woodland Park Zoo’s award-winning Northern Trail with
our President and CEO, Dr. Deborah Jensen. Your group will enjoy
a series of sumptuous appetizers prepared by Scott Staples Catering,
of Restaurant Zoë and Quinn’s fame. Along each stop
through the evening, your thirst will not be ignored as you savor
the fine taste of Neil Ellis South African wines. This memorable

Spooktacular Halloween Party in “Boomazium” for

year, as the temperature drops and the leaves start to fall, something
happens to Zoomazium, our indoor, all-weather facility that incorporates
spectacular multimedia features with fun, interactive nature-themed

and we call it “Boomazium!” With wolves howling in

Savanna Exploration for Six
 This
priceless experience is not to be missed. Your group of six will
have the opportunity to take a private tour of the African Savanna
with our keepers. First, visit the hippos and feed them some of
their favorite snacks. Then, off to see the giraffes and watch
how they use their tongues to grasp onto browse. Watch out - you
might get licked! After that, you’ll meet our amazing ostriches
and learn all about them. The next stop will be the Wild Dog exhibit.
Learn from our keepers about how Woodland Park Zoo is supporting
the conservation efforts of these animals and what we are learning
each day from this particular pack. You’ll stroll over to
the pride of the Savanna — our lion and lioness — to
wish them a good night. This could be your first opportunity to
see our new lion and lioness in their exhibit! Your group will
talk to the keepers and get the inside scoop on all these beautiful
creatures. All these activities will surely make you work up an
appetite, but don’t worry - we’ll also provide you
with a magnificent catered dinner by Chef Michel Girard from Cameron
Catering and enjoy paired Simi, Franciscan and Robert Mondavi Winery

your fine meal, sipping on specially selected La Crema, Murphy
Goode and Matanzas Creek wines, and the next minute, there’s
a scuffle, a scream, and a body collapses to the floor. No cause
for alarm, the “dead body” is a professional actor.
Before you can dial 9-1-1, a hilarious cast will lead you on an
adventure of greed, jealousy and homicidal mania! Slowly, but surely,
your guests will piece together the clues and attempt to solve
the crime by interacting with the characters. The end comes with
a spectacular confrontation as the murderer is revealed. Your guests
will have a rollicking evening of excitement, suspense and lots
of laughs — this party is sure to be a killer! |

Birding with Conservation International’s
Bruce Beehler for Four!
 To
help celebrate Jungle Party’s “For the Birds” theme
this year, we have created an unforgettable experience paired with
our conservation partner, Conservation International. You and three
guests will get this once-in-a-lifetime experience to spend a weekend
with Dr. Bruce Beehler, renowned bird enthusiast and vice president
of Conservation International, IndoPacific Region, as well as Dr.
Lisa Dabek, Woodland Park Zoo’s director of Field Conservation,
on a birding adventure in Olympic National Park! Dr. Bruce Beehler
is the true Naturalist in New Guinea (the title of one of his books).
He has worked in Papua New Guinea since the 1970’s doing
groundbreaking work on the birds of paradise, the most famous birds
of the region. Upon meeting up in Olympic National Park, you’ll
experience all the birds the park has to offer. After a day of
birding, go back and relax at beautiful Lake Quinault Lodge and
enjoy a meal at the restaurant with a $150 gift certificate. The
next day is yours to spend however you please before heading home.
