We have more than 100 species of birds represented at Woodland
Park Zoo and each and every one of them is an ambassador for the
ecosystem. From the majestic bald eagle to the Humboldt penguins,
the ostriches to the beautiful birds of paradise, these valuable
creatures offer unparalleled opportunities to educate about human
impact upon wild species living in ecosystems across the globe, from
Arctic terns all the way to Antarctic penguins.
