Woodland Park Zoo Baby Gorilla Naming Contest

In partnership with Western Washington Ivar’s and Kidd Valley restaurants

Seattle’s Newest Conservation Ambassador Needs a Name!

Enter the “Name the Baby Gorilla” contest to name the endangered female western lowland gorilla born at Woodland Park Zoo in October 2007.

Select a name from words in the Swahili, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa languages (simply go online and use any search engine to locate dictionaries for these languages or visit your local library). The winning name will be chosen at random from those entered. Prizes include a zoo membership and great food from Ivar's and Kidd Valley, and more!

Names will be accepted from March 2, 2008 through March 23, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.
so hurry!!

For a complete set of rules, download an entry form here and drop off at any Western Washington Ivar’s Seafood Restaurants and Kidd Valley locations or drop off your entry at Woodland Park Zoo, or get an entry form at any Ivar's or Kidd Valley location.
(Employees of Ivar's, Kidd Valley, and zoo employees and volunteers are not eligible for entry).
