course offerings for tweens and teens! Zoo U sessions are now
available for children 10 years and older.
On
The Fly
Take off with us as we explore the flying animals around the zoo and learn
more about what makes flight possible. This week-long program uses experiments,
games, and observations of zoo animals to engage students in questions about
flight including “What would it take to make an elephant fly?” Please
note that for the safety of the animals and the participants, students will
not have direct contact with the zoo’s animals.

Animal
Management
What does it really take to provide for the animals in a zoo? How does a zoo
decide which animals to keep and where to put them? Animal Management Zoo U
will help students explore these questions and more through games, puzzles,
and conversations with people working to in this exciting field today. Please
note that for the safety of the animals and the participants, students will
not have direct contact with the zoo’s animals.
